First, you can summon your ride called Seikret and click “Tab” to let the ride automatically lead you to the destination of your mission. If your destination is to hunt down a monster, Seikret will automatically follow the monster as well. It greatly increases your mobility during the fight and makes it more relaxing to reach the mission location.
Second, because of the design of Seikret, you can carry a secondary weapon in the game. It is quite frustrating when you can only carry one primary weapon designed for close-up attacks. The design of a secondary weapon renders the fighting more convenient and maneuverable when you can pair a close-attack weapon with a long-range weapon, for example, the daggers and the bow.

Third, the players can make good use of the sling to trigger environment traps to capture or slow down the monsters, such as vine traps and falling boulders. It is rather convenient when there is a trap readily available. It saves you the trouble of switching to different traps through your tool box.
Fourth, regarding the monsters, players can do target attacks on the bleeding wounds of monsters. The bleeding wound will appear after you repeatedly attack the same spot several times. Monsters will also attack each other. For example, when you hunt down the quematrice, a doshaguma may join the fight and deal massive damage to the quematrice.

What is the Main Story of Monster Hunter Wilds
The main story of Monster Hunter Wilds starts from the keepers, a secret village in the Forbidden Lands being attacked by monsters. A child named Nata managed to escape and was saved by a team of hunters.
Nata’s stories send a signal to the outer world, proving that there are people still living in the Forbidden Lands. In regard to this, an expedition team is founded. The main character (the player) is invited to join as an experienced solo monster hunter.
The first mission is to save the siblings from the chatacabra. This is a newbie’s guide to the fighting system of Monster Hunter Wilds. It may take you a while to get used to the attacks and take down the chatacabra. The siblings, although not knowing who the keepers are, further testify that the Forbidden Lands have more clans and villages. It is more than just a forsaken land by human beings.
Monster Hunter Wilds centers the story on the discovery of the Forbidden Lands, with information about the keepers at its core. As an action role-play game, this story settings offer a vast land filled with the unknown and mysteries, awaiting the players to explore.
