Cyberpunk 2077 Guide: How To Solve Lizzy Wizzy Quest

Cyberpunk 2077 has a host of characters with celebrity voice actors such as Johnny Silverhand and Solomon Reed. One particular character is Lizzy Wizzy, who in-game is a renowned Night City musician. Lizzy Wizzy is based on and voiced by Claire Elise Boucher, better known as the superstar artist and Elon Musk’s ex-wife, Grimes. Throughout the game, you can hear her songs on 98.7 Body Heat, which include 4ÆM and Delicate Weapon. At a certain point in the game, Lizzy Wizzy asks the player character V for help, which can go many ways depending on how V approaches it. This article will guide you on how to approach Lizzy’s quest and the various outcomes associated with it.

Starting the Quest

Lizzy Wizzy will text you anonymously sometime after ‘Tapeworm’. If it does not appear, you may need to do a few gigs first (it doesn’t seem to matter which ones, nor what level of Street Cred you have).

She will ask you to come to the No-Tell Motel in Kabuki, Watson. If you’re having trouble finding it, simply select the quest in your Journal (titled ‘Violence’) and follow the marker on the map.

Going into room 210, you will see a figure who is revealed to be Lizzy Wizzy. She will ask you to discreetly investigate her manager/boyfriend, Liam Northom, whom she suspects of cheating. Liam frequents the Riot club in Little China, so head there to look into him.

Note that the quest will be paused at this point if Kerry’s ‘Rebel! Rebel!’ quest has been started. This is to avoid conflict, as the mission also takes place in the Riot club. Lizzy Wizzy will inform V that Liam is out of town, and she will notify V when he returns. Completing ‘I Don’t Wanna Hear It’ will allow the quest to resume.

Entering the Riot Bar

Although the mission itself is quite short, there are multiple ways to approach it depending on the player’s preferences. The most straightforward way to get in is through the front entrance after 8 pm while the club is open.

The Animal bouncer will not stop you, but talking to him is useless. He will not give you any information, and pressing further bars you from entering the club. Intimidating him through the Body or Street Cred checks after asking about Liam fails regardless of level.

You can also enter the club secretly through three other entrances.

  1. The first is the fire escape in the alley on the left of the building. You will see a ladder that you need to hit or shoot to drop.
  2. The second entrance is in the garage on the right side of the building. It will need either an Intelligence check to hack the keypad or an employee badge found on the computer desk.
  3. The third entrance is the garage door on the right of the second entrance, which requires a Body check to lift.

Accessing Evidence

You will now need to find a computer with the surveillance feed on it. Talking to the bartender is optional – upon paying him off or passing a Body check, he will inform you that Liam is in the VIP room.

Opposite the bartender is a door that you can access after swiping the employee card. If you entered through the security room/garage, you will already have access to this area. Follow the mission marker to the elevator, which brings you to the ground floor.

You will then see a computer, and Johnny will tell you to search it for surveillance footage. Watching it will reveal that Liam is making a deal with Arasaka to create a copy of Lizzy Wizzy, who is showing signs of cyberpsychosis.

Now you can call Lizzy Wizzy and either choose to tell her it was a simple affair or to tell her the truth. Telling her it was a simple affair gives the player €$1900 and ends the quest there. Telling her the truth about Liam awards the player €$2800 and continues the quest into Part 2.

You can also confront Liam directly without accessing the surveillance footage. Go to the elevator right next to the one that you just took. Either way, confront Liam by telling him Lizzy Wizzy is suspicious and he will pay you €$30000 to be quiet. This locks you out of the rest of the quest and a potential item from Lizzy Wizzy in Phantom Liberty.

Violence: Part 2

If you choose to tell Lizzy Wizzy the truth, she will call you again later on in the game, urgently needing your help. Return to the same room at the No-Tell Motel to find out that Lizzy Wizzy has killed Liam and needs help disposing of the body. Scanning Liam’s corpse will reveal that Lizzy Wizzy strangled him to death.

Agree to dispose of the body and bring it to the dumpster outside the room across the hotel. This ends the quest, and a few days later Lizzy will text V thanking them. She will also mention that she has made some new Extreme Brain Dances (XBDs), implying that she has fallen deeper into cyberpsychosis.

Lizzy Wizzy in Phantom Liberty: You Know My Name

You will meet Lizzy Wizzy again at the Black Sapphire during the mission ‘You Know My Name’ in Phantom Liberty. She will appear as one of the guests at the party. Talking to her will give you the Amikiri Sound Cutter.

Equipping it makes your hair look like Lizzy Wizzy’s when equipped as a female V. Male V characters are out of luck, as it only turns their hair white. This will not be possible if you did not dispose of Liam’s body, as she will not talk to you.

FAQs

Is LIzzy Wizzy a cyberpsycho?

It is very likely Lizzy Wizzy has cyberpsychosis. Since her body was replaced entirely with cyberware, her personality has changed drastically, to the point where he is getting scared of her. After killing Liam, she becomes extremely detached from reality and the consequences of her actions, simply seeing it as a new avenue to express her artistic whims. After the quest, she engages in Extreme Brain Dances (XBDs) which feature highly disturbing content, solidifying her descent into cyberpsychosis.

Did Grimes voice Lizzy Wizzy?

Yes, Grimes voiced Lizzy Wizzy and even created music for the game. In a livestream before the game’s launch, she was so excited about her character that she accidentally leaked Lizzy’s backstory about taking her life on stage before being transformed into a full-body cyborg.

What song does Lizzy Wizzy sing in Phantom Liberty?

At the Black Sapphire party during ‘You Know My Name’, Lizzy Wizzy can be seen performing on stage. The song she is performing is called “Delicate Weapon” and was made by Grimes specifically for the game. A braindance (BD) of the performance is given to V at the end of the quest.

Lizzy Wizzy Quest Conclusion

To sum up, this article explains how to progress through Lizzy Wizzy’s questline. To fully progress through the questline, you must retrieve the surveillance footage of Liam and the Arasaka agent. Then, you must inform Lizzy Wizzy of the truth, and later help her dispose of the body. Doing this provides V with a total of €$2800 and Lizzy Wizzy’s unique headgear. On the other hand, you can choose to blackmail Liam to obtain a hefty sum of €$30000, which keeps him alive. The end result of the quest is morally ambiguous, and players may be conflicted on which route to take. However, it is debatable that helping Lizzy Wizzy yields the best outcome, as otherwise she will be cloned by Arasaka.
