Sultan’s Game Update Samir: The Mystery of the Court Physician from the Fallen Kingdom

Samir is the court physician whom players will previously encounter at the bookstore or The Grand Game. With the latest November 11th update, there are three more storylines added to Samir’s plot, while there weren’t any before. Although Samir’s storyline does not have major functions added to the game, his stories about the court dead infant case, medicine research, and medical codex, complete his personal profile and are related to the background plot of the fallen kingdom. This guide covers the main branches of the three storylines!

Story 1: Court Abortion Case and Medical Codex

The tricky part about Sultan’s Game update Samir storyline is that players must start Story 3 first, but pause after Little Guardian and start Story 1, because their plots are interconnected. According to the plot, Samir was framed by the court physicians who are royal to the fallen kingdom in Story 1, but in Story 3, the two parties have achieved mutual understanding. Thus, players must pause on Story 3 after Little Guardian. Finishing the complete Story 3 will end with failure to trigger Story 1. If players didn’t finish Story 1, players cannot trigger Story 2 either…🥲

This storyline is about the case of a child abortion happening at the Sultan’s court. As the Sultan’s patience will run out, players must finish the following events as soon as possible once the countdown starts.

  1. Sanitarium: Send the injured Arzu (not twin Arzu) to the sanitarium. The easiest way to injure Arzu is to make him wear The Sultan’s Nipple Chain. Arzu is the character whose background only has one horizontal line; twin Arzu has two.
  2. An Unexpected Visitor: Pass the check of sociability + wisdom ≥ 2 to make Kapar talk.
  3. The Grand Game: Arzu needs to attend and pass the check of sociability + charisma ≥ 4 to survive and know the case of the dead infant. Choose whichever option after The Grand Game to continue.
  4. The Stillborn Affair: This is a countdown for the Sultan’s patience. Players can plead here for an extension. When obtaining the truth, the evidence should also be submitted here.
  5. Inquiry in the Harem: This event is not very helpful. If players talk to Sadani, she can extend the deadline by 1 day.
  6. Samir’s Request: This event is crucial. Send a follower with stealth ≥ 5 to assist. (On a side note, it seems like the culprit will directly turn in the evidence if Samir has adopted Anita in Story 3 at this point, but the timeline is a bit tricky.)
  7. A Truth Samir Dreads: No need to act on this event.
  8. Medical Codex Chapter 1: Help Samir with 10 coins/ a follower with survival or wisdom ≥ 5/ certain books (Encyclopedia of Flora and Fauna, Book of the Desert, Jungle! Jungle!, Book of the Wild). If Kapar is alive, he can help when players do not send any help.
  9. Medical Codex Chapter 2: Help Samir with 10 coins/ a follower with combat or stealth≥ 5/ Habib.
  10. Last Chapter: Send three followers to wrap up the compilation. Only nobles, followers with wisdom ≥ 5, Lumera, or Shama are allowed.
  11. Submit the Ironclad Frame Up Evidence to the event, The Stillborn Affair.
  12. A Quiet Place: Fund a cemetery for all the physicians who have passed away.

Story 2: R&D of the Water of Life

Story 2 is unlocked when players finish Story 1 and have Water of Life ready. The interesting point of this storyline is that players will get one chance to heal a monster or an animal using Samir’s Imitation of the Water of Life. Depending on whether players place a human being/ an animal, or a monster, the branches are different after A Cure for Wounds. This guide demonstrates the branch of healing human beings and animals, whereas the branch of healing monsters is more rewarding.

Players can get Water of Life by assisting Mahir with Project Investment II and successfully passing the event check.

  1. Precious Sample: Give Samir a Water of Life for his research.
  2. A Cure for Wounds: Drag the Imitation of the Water of Life to Methinks. Use it to cure a human being, an animal, or a monster.
  3. Pain Cannot Be Ignored: Players can either spend coins or send Jabal/ Raed/ Faris/ Badriyyah/ Fardak/ Iman for the inspiration to improve the medicine.
  4. A New Medicine: Help Samir with Mahir or any followers with wisdom ≥ 5. After this, the Sanitarium offers free healing services.
  • Precious Sample
  • A Cure for Wounds
  • Pain Cannot Be Ignored
  • A New Medicine

Story 3: Homeland’s Blood

The timeline of Story 3 intertwines with Story 1 if players wish to complete both. Players need to start Story 3 first, because the compilation of Medical Codex will terminate the storyline of Story 3.

To begin with, Sadani’s storyline triggers Story 3.

  1. Infiltration and Forgery/ Bribing the Chamberlain: You can click the link and check how to reach this event in the section about Seliman.
  2. Shadows of Flowers in the Corridor: Figure out what Samir wants, and get the Folded List.
  3. Gold, Crystal, and Mud: Drag the Folded List to Methinks. Pass the check by having Influence ≥ 15 or sociability + charisma ≥ 3.
  4. Little Guardian: Send any follower with 5 coins. Anita will become a follower. (If you want to go through Story 1 or 2, refrain from proceeding to Homeland’s Blood until you finish compiling the Medical Codex.)
  5. Homeland’s Blood: If Samir is alive, placing Maggie, Lumera, or the Folded List will terminate Story 1’s Medical Codex progress. The safest solution is to send Alim/ Badriyyah/ Iman with Nursery on the map, or send Adila/ Jawad, to trigger the event Samir’s Gratitude.
  6. Samir’s Gratitude: Samir will support you at The Grand Game in the future.
  • Shadows of Flowers in the Corridor
  • Gold, Crystal, and Mud
  • Little Guardian
  • If you put Lumera here and Samir is still alive, Story 1 will not be triggered anymore.

Conclusion: The Highlights of Sultan’s Game Update Samir Plots

Honestly speaking, Sultan’s Game update Samir storylines are not as rewarding as Jenna’s or Bharat’s. Moreover, it is rather tricky in terms of the timeline if players want to finish all three storylines in one game. The common case, if you didn’t read any guide, is that you may finish Story 1 and 2 in one game, and Story 3 in another game.

This update about Samir is mainly about completing his personal profile and the background of the fallen kingdom. After the Sultan’s father conquered the previous kingdom, many of the court physicians live in the Dark Alley because they refuse to pledge their loyalty to the Sultan, including Samir’s father. Samir is the only one who chooses to change sides and continues his pursuit in medicine. This relationship and story background are the main driving plot for both Story 1 and Story 3. If you are not that interested in Samir, skipping his storylines is not that much of a loss!
