Travellers Rest Jacky: How to Find Jacky and Complete the Quest in 2 Minutes

Jacky is a missing cat from The Burrow, an animal rescue shop, in Travellers Rest. To gain access to the adoption and pet service, the player needs to complete the quest called “Oh, Bring Back My Jacky to Me”, which requires the player to locate Jacky and return the cat to Nessy at The Burrow. Here’s how you can start and complete the quest!

How to Start the Jacky Quest in Travellers Rest

The quest of looking for Jacky in Travellers Rest begins by visiting The Burrow, the animal rescue center located in the market. The quest becomes available after completing either the “First Steps” tutorial or “Lick of Paint“, which means the player can start the process of adopting a pet after repairing the tavern according to Mai’s instructions.

When the player enters The Burrow and speaks with Nessy, the purple-haired NPC, she explains that Jacky, one of the cats at the shelter, has escaped. This starts “Oh, Bring Back My Jacky to Me.” The objective is straightforward: locate Jacky around the market and bring the cat back to Nessy.

The quest does not require any particular combat ability or complicated equipment. The main challenge is simply finding Jacky at each location.

Where to Find Jacky

Jacky has three hiding locations, and the player needs to interact with the cat at each location to progress the quest. It does not always show its entire body for the player to find, so basically the player needs to look for any abnormality in the market.

1. Jacky in the Alleyway

The first time Jacky is found, the cat is hiding inside a cart in the alleyway south of The Burrow.

Interact with Jacky, but the cat will immediately run away. The player needs to follow the clues and locate the cat again.

2. Jacky Inside the Barrel

The second location is near Amos’ tavern. Jacky can be found hiding inside a barrel to the right of the tavern.

Interact with the cat again, and Jacky will run away for a second time.

3. Jacky in the Tree

The final location is on the terrace above the fish and seafood shop.

Take the stairs to the left of the shop and head toward the tree. An NPC looking toward the tree provides a useful clue that Jacky is hiding there.

This time, the player needs to use the broom to knock the cat out of the tree. After the final interaction, return to Nessy at The Burrow to complete the quest.

What Is the Jacky Quest Reward

Completing “Oh, Bring Back My Jacky to Me” allows the player to enter The Burrow and rewards the player with Reputation and the option to adopt a cat.

The quest also leads into the next animal-related quest, “Furry Pal,” which introduces the adoption system and allows the player to adopt a dog upon completion.

The Jacky quest is therefore more than a small search mission. It serves as the introduction to Travellers Rest’s animal rescue and adoption content. The adoption sign can bring in hundreds of Reputation points for the tavern as well.
