If the player does not remove the tag, in the revolution ending where the player confronts the Sultan in a duel, the honor guards will stand by the Sultan’s side to protect him.

How to Recruit Jabal & Remove the Honor Guard Tag

The first step is to trigger his request event.

Players need to have a Stone or Bronze Conquest card available. Jabal will approach Arzu and ask to use the card for his own adventure. Accept his request and personally join him on the hunt.

1. Jabal’s Request (Pop-up Window): Choose “Sounds good” and let Jabal use the conquest card for Arzu.
2. General Night Hunt: Send Arzu to the hunting with the conquest card, so that Arzu can recognize Jabal’s fighting style more easily in the later events. To get the loot, Arzu needs to have combat & physique – the beast’s combat & physique ≥ 4.
3. A Pugilist in the Dark Alley: Arzu needs to pass the sociability & wisdom ≥ 3 check, and stealth ≥ 2 check to identify Jabal, as well as tracking him down. The end of this event will give players the Pugilist Proof.
4. Put the Pugilist Proof into Methinks.
5. Choose to blackmail Jabal.
6. You Wouldn’t Want Anyone Else to Know, Would You?: Choose to persuade Jabal to become a follower.
7. Public Brawl: Arzu needs to win Jabal over the combat & physique – Jabal’s combat & physique ≥ 5.

Winning Jabal over the “Public Brawl” will remove Jabal’s tag as Sultan’s Game honor guards. Jabal’s tag is the easiest one to be removed compared to other Sultan’s champions.

Jabal and the Honor Guard Betrayal Ending

The four Honor Guards are extremely important for players attempting the rebellion ending. Normally, these warriors protect the Sultan during the final confrontation. However, if Arzu successfully changes their and removes their Honor Guard tag, the final battle becomes much easier.

Moreover, if the player successfully remove all four Honor guards’ tags, the dialogues of how the four of them see each other before the combats are extremely interesting and intriguing. Jabal and the Dragonslaying Route

Jabal’s most famous storyline is not the rebellion route but the legendary dragonslaying adventure.

The dragonslaying route connects Jabal with Adila, another warrior character whose family history is tied to a dragon legend. Jabal is the only character who is interested in the story and can make the story progress. There are three major branches from the dragonslaying route:

• Marry Jabal to Adila, and the team work in dragonslaying will lead the game directly to the dragonslaying ending.
• Not marrying Adila to Jabal, or let Adila and Maggie get together. Then Adila brings back the Dragon’s Eye, and the eye can be used to reach the Sultan’s Game true ending – God becoming ending.

Players must help them prepare, study the dragon legends, gather supplies, and eventually face the dragon in battle.
