1. Basic Pouch: The first inventory upgrade is called the Basic Pouch. It costs 1,000 Tesserae at the General Store and increases your inventory by 10 slots. This upgrade is available early in the game and the player does not need to meet any requirements or finish any quests to make this option available. It is highly recommended to upgrade this as soon as you have 1,000 Tesserae, for the convenience of mining.

Yes. Expanding your inventory also expands your toolbar. The toolbar initially has 10 slots. As your inventory gets larger, the toolbar gains additional tabs of 10 slots. This means that the game does not simply hide away the additional inventory capacity in the main inventory menu—you also have more room for items that you want quick access to while playing.
